71-804 Project extension towards enhancing TDC with a SN Ia in a member galaxy

PI: Stefan Schuldt

This program is a 30 hours program of fixed scheduled (dark) time, as a continuation of the 20 hour Acebron program 68-804.

Observing instructions:

Simple R-band imaging of a Galaxy cluster with the complication of an added acquisition phase to ensure correct pointing.
The OB generator does not support this, therefore no OBs to be found!

Just execute the specially prepared script as shown below. It will complain about not being able to check the setup, but it uses the standard R-band filter (#76) so this can be ignored.

Go to the directory
  cd ~/scripts/71-804

and execute the script:
  SPECIAL_SCRIPT

The acquisition consists of putting the cursor on the star marked on the finding chart. Follow instructions given in the sequencer window.

In order to add to visplot use:

Schedule:

This is a fixed scheduled program with its own EON reports.

NB! It is to be done during dark hours of the night!

Note that tracking is only for the ToO part of this program. If something is discovered the program has the right to trigger ToOs for a couple of hours per semester.
