Detectors

One of the limiting factors on the efficiency of observations are the current slow, outdated detector controllers. An upgrade to more modern, state-of-the-art controllers is needed. This will also require an upgrade of the data acquisition system. A definite decision about which detector controller we will select is expected to be taken around the end of the year, after which we will define a more detailed plan. We will start the detector controller upgrade program in the next period (37).
