An automated calibration procedure will be made that ensures that basic calibration frames that are used by the FIEStool quick-look/reduction program are taken.
Improvements will be made to FIES-tool regarding wavelength solution, allowing for new ThAr frames to be used automatically allowing to use the ThAr frame obtained closest in time to the target spectrum. This may be less important when the simultaneous ThAr mode becomes available for the medium-resolution fiber.
