The re-coating of the mirrors is still pending. After the move of the table the instrument was re-assembled and the optics was aligned by people from Aarhus. Also the new instrument computer was installed.
The precise status of the multi-fiber unit is not clear and it needs to be checked whether the unit can still be used. A detailed planning is needed if it is necessary to get a new multi-fiber unit. Also, the mirrors still need to be re-coated and it is not entirely clear what needs to be done and how long it will take. These issues will be sorted-out by Søren Frandsen and Bo Lindberg.
After the move to the new building, two backup fibers were installed in the telescope but both were damaged due to the difficulty of handling these fibers as they were mounted in a very stiff outer tube. The damaged new 100micron fiber was used to test the instrument after its move and all seems to be OK with the spectrograph.
Although the calibration unit is basically working, both hardware and software of the unit need to be optimized.
