During the visit of Preben Nørregaard (CUO) to help with the installation of the science array for NOTCam he showed a first proto-type for the new detector controller. The current plan is to test and develop this controller with the FRED mosaic camera which is currently at CUO which then can be tested at the telescope in the place of MOSCA.
