Various software and computer developments are planned. Below I list the most relevant things.

• Spam: A review will be made of the Anti-spam system and possible enhancements will be considered.

• Scratch disk file system: Typically the users work with very large data files and it will be checked if the XFS file-system can improve the performance of the system when working with such files.

• Common services computer: A new system will be set-up for the common service (home directories, mail folders, etc).

• Computer rack: Separate fuses should be installed for the computers in the rack in the service building to avoid the failure of one taking out the whole system.

• User account backup system: A proper backup system for the staff user accounts should be defined and implemented.
