The mirror will be aluminized on the 21st of June. We have schedule a 4 night stand-down period followed by 3 test nights to serve as contingency and to be able to test and align the mirror. Anton Norup from CUO will come out to assist us.
As we now have a program to monitor the performance of the telescope regularly, the aluminization will also serve as a good benchmark for the mirror cleaning procedures we employ (if weather permits...).
