A quote was received for coating the mirrors, and the price went up from the original estimate of $ 8500 to $ 25000 so we might have to consider looking for another company. Also, a quote was received for the fiber bundle which turned-out to be relatively cheap at $ 2500, and it was agreed to order an extra spare bundle.
The fiber unit design was finalized and the unit will be ordered soon. A conceptual design of an adapter-based calibration-and-shutter unit has been made, which will be manufactured by Aarhus.
