The programming of the new TCS has progressed somewhat faster, and at the moment 85% has been implemented. The current estimated finishing date is July 2004 (note that this now includes catalog handling which was note included before). One thing which was not properly taken into account, and might effect progress is the need to check the software with the hardware which has already required some modifications to the telescope hardware. Also, continued work on the pointing problem discussed above has affected progress.
Note that the user interface is not included in the above. We have had some discussion about the user interface, but a final design still has to be defined.
