The first IR grism was installed together with some slits. First `spectroscopic' light with NOTCam was successfully made in August 2003. See for the first-light report and commissioning

Further upgrades to the spectrocopic capabilities of NOTcam, e.g. R=6000 on HR camera and R=800 on WF camera, are awaiting input from Nordic astronomical community regarding science drivers etc.
