Grism holders have been made and tested in Copenhagen, and are now at the NOT.
A new grism design has been considered. This design will allow separate J (5th order), H (4th order), and K (3rd order) observations with spectral resolution of about R=1300 for a 0.94 arcsec slit width and the wide-field camera. We will be ordering such a grism shortly.
It has been confirmed that pinholes in the aperture wheel can be imaged in focus on the detector, in all three main filters. For this reason we do not anticipate considerable problems regarding the focusing of NOTcam in spectrographic mode with all the necessary optics installed.
