CCD7 dark current:Several bin2x2 4000s exposure dark images were obtained during february 2002. Cosmics were removed and the images were median filtered and bias subtracted. The resulting image was then normalized to 1000s:
Press here to download the .fits file. The structures visible on the image is on a 3-4 e-/pix/1000s level. That is, the structures in the dark current is only significant when looking for faint extended objects, using high exposure-times. |
