Settable with the 'comment' command from BIAS. The second comment line is
set with the 'xcomment' command from BIAS.
We have chosen to put a "= " at byte 9 and 10 of the card image. This makes
the header look more "smooth". The FITS draft standard says that "If this field
contains an ASCII "= ", it indicates the precense of a value field
associated with the keyword, unless it is a commentary keyword.......(Such
a commentary keyword may contain any ASCII text in columns 9-80)."
Value: String Length: Max. 40 characters. If more, characters in the beginning of the string will be truncated. Commentfield: No commentfield. |
